Dear valued members,
The Broker Forum has been in existence for more than a decade and is recognized as a pioneer in offering E-Commerce solutions for the electronic components industry. The Broker Forum has often led the path to innovation and seeks to continue doing so while maintaining its recognized and reputable international presence.
Over the past weeks, I have had the pleasure of discussing with many of you the challenges facing our industry, particularly when dealing over the Internet. As I have indicated during the World Tour 2007 events, we at The Broker Forum, cannot police the industry, nor can we be held liable for the quality of the goods traded or business terms mutually agreed upon by consenting parties; we simply cannot. We provide a platform for a community of interest to come together and conduct business.
However, we recognize the challenges we all face and we are dedicated and committed in supporting the highest possible level of integrity in all transactions. As a means to achieving this, we offer Value Added Services to secure transactions on our network and help minimize risks associated with doing business over the internet, particularly with new market players.
In the spirit of continued improvement and committed leadership, attending to your feedback and understanding your priorities and goals, we are very proud to have launched our “Quest for Quality” initiative during our World Tour 2007 events.
Our main objective is to provide the right environment with clear “Rules of Engagement” focusing on continuously bringing a higher level of integrity for all transactions as well as among members trading on our Network, resulting in minimized risks and higher quality transactions. During this drive for quality, we will also review the various valued tags we have become known for (ISCP, Verified, Pledge of Integrity, etc…) and services (Escrow, Web Wizard, etc..) offered on Broker Forum to ensure they meet the desired quality standards for which they were meant when launched.
Our drive for quality will be a three-step approach. First, ensure the quality and integrity of ISCP Tags. Second, focus on the accuracy and integrity of the listed inventory. Third, enhance the quality of the transactions.
Lastly, we, at The Broker Forum, are embarking on this important “Quest” for the constant pursuit of “Quality” because we fully understand the importance it brings to our network, our members and our mutual growth. Quality is an attitude. Quality has a cost. We will continue to invest with you in raising the bar and supporting the highest possible level of integrity for all the transactions conducted on our Network.
We thank you for your on-going support and trust. Expect more communications from us on this very important initiative over the course of this quarter.
Sincerely,

Pierre Sergerie
